Long Term Care

In addition to short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing, River's Bend Health Care also provides a high quality of life, safety, security, medical supervision and support for those who can no longer live independently in their home. Many families seek long term care placement for loved ones who have dementia, Parkinson's disease or Alzheimer's, or other health problems and disabilities that make it unsafe for them to live on their own.

Respite Care

River's Bend Health Care also offers respite care - giving caregivers peace of mind that their loved one is in a safe environment while they enjoy a break from care giving. Respite care enables caregivers to take some time to restore their energy, participate in a church activity or spend time with friends and family. Call our Admissions Department for more information about our respite care services.

Hospice Care

River's Bend Health Care works with Community Hospice and Hospice of Huntington for patients who qualify for hospice services. We provide private hospice suites, when they are available, so your loved one can be as comfortable as possible and your visits can be more meaningful. Hospice caregivers provide physical, emotional and spiritual support to residents at our facility, and residents also can be transferred to the hospice facilities, when appropriate.
