What an amazing Holiday we have had so far. The month of December has been filled with love and memories with our residents, and we have a lot of people to thank for all of their dedication and hard work. First, our Activities staff has again gone above and beyond to make sure our residents have the best Christmas we can provide. They have put in many hours, evenings, and weekends to get our facility prepared for our Christmas party and visitors. From decorating the building, to arts crafts, and baking, our Activities staff and residents have been busy this month, and everything has turned out wonderfully. We have had a host of visitors in the building delivering goodies, cards, and singing Christmas carols in the hallways. And to those employees, visitors, family members, and community members in the tri-state area that donated gifts to our residents for Christmas, we cannot begin to describe what a difference you have made in our residents’ Christmas this year. Faces lit up with as much excitement here as they do on a child’s face Christmas morning. You all have earned a special place in our hearts and we hope you have a merry and blessed Holiday. We want to send out a special thanks to a few people who have helped out this season: Tricia Courts, The family and friends of Evelene Christian, Danny & Vicki Boster, Windsor Church, The Kenova Ladies, Proctorville Food Fair, McMeans Pharmacy, 14th St. Big Lots, Kyova Mall, South Point Choir, Wee Shine Preschool, Tri-State Worship, Shepherd’s Fold Church, Girl Scouts troop #7156, Proctorville Ladies Auxillary, VFW Post 6878, Carol & Audrey Adams, Steri-Cycle, and New Hope United Methodist Church.
