Recently we have had 2 of our main fall events, our annual Chili Cook off, and our Fall Social which was formerly known as the Pie Social. Both events had great turnouts, and we are already looking forward to next year’s events. We also had 4 employees represent RBHC at the annual Walk for a Cure for Alzheimer’s awareness. This walk is in Huntington, and thousands of people raise money and attend the event each year. We do many fundraisers throughout the year to raise money to donate towards Alzheimer’s research. It is a very big part of our daily lives and we are proud to help out in any way! For our fall festivities, our residents had the chance to decorate pumpkins donated by the wonderful Clark Fruit & Vegetable Farm. Our pumpkins are lining the sidewalks out front, displaying painted and carved pumpkins designed by those who participated. We would like to thank everyone who donated supplies and their time to make this fall’s activities for our residents such a huge hit! We appreciate everyone’s generosity more than we can say. Stay tuned for more updates as we move from Halloween into Thanksgiving, and yes, even into Christmas! The time is upon us and we are already working hard to make the next few holidays as memorable as the years before!
